1. Quality Services Analyst
Job Type – Full Time

Reports to - Manager, Quality Services
Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity for a Quality Assurance Analyst with a background in technical implementation and/or support. We have designed a position that will allow the perfect candidate to assist in the quality of our software products through both the testing aspect as well as supporting our production products via direct interaction with our great customers.
Essential Functions
-
Must demonstrate ability to decompose product requirements into functional test cases
-
Develop test cases for regression testing
-
Work with Product Manager and Developers to ensure that test cases cover all testable requirements
-
Execute tests in multiple environments
-
Update documentation with test results
-
Report comprehensive defects in defect tracker
-
Demonstrate the ability to test front-end as well as back-end processes and systems
-
Query the database using SQL to verify data integrity
-
Able to manage multiple projects in parallel/multitasking
-
Work individually and as a member of a team
-
Occasionally provide guidance to and assist in the training of less experienced staff
-
Provide customer support via phone and/or email
-
Provide low-volume on call support during weekend
-
Work with Systems Operations team to deploy new code and software during off hours
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred
-
1-2 years in a Quality Assurance Analyst and/or QA Tester role with test case experience
-
2-4 years in a technical support role with direct product support experience
-
Automated testing tool and scripting experience (TestComplete, Mercury, Silk)
-
Experience in a web application environment (Apache/IIS/Tomcat/Database Backed Environment)
-
Knowledge of SOA Architectures and XML
-
Good knowledge of TCP/IP based applications (client server/web based applications)
-
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Visio
-
Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and Quality Assurance processes
-
Ability to read and understand HTML
-
Strong ability to read and develop SQL query statements

As the Systems Administrator you will:

Oversee monitoring of system load, performance, and security across all of the windows servers in two data centers

Plan and manage projects as required to include but not be limited to system servers, network and storage

Introduce redundancy to current infrastructure (web, database, and network)

Manage firewall for office and data center environment

Work with hosting vendors to manage system hosted in two data centers

Work with development lead to build secure and great performing web applications
The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years experience in:

Active Directory
-
MS Exchange
-
MS Windows Server OS (2000/2003/2008)

IIS 6.0/7.0
-
Network Load Balancing (NLB)/Cluster
-
SQL 2000/2005/2008
-
Cisco Firewall/VPN & network troubleshooting

SQL Server administration and performance tuning
-
VMWare ESX/ESXi
-
Backup Management
Extra consideration will be given to those who have:

College degree in Computer Science or related field and/or MSCE Certification or similar

SQL scripting/DTS Packages

2+ years experience in data center environment

Experience developing automated, repeatable processes

Batch, VBScript, C#
-
Experience with Linux/Unix

MySQL/PostgreSQL

Telecom/IVR/VoIP
