GetBanksXML Method

This web service returns the financial institution name or names for a submitted 9-digit bank routing number.

Function Calls Supported:

• Logon - logon to the service.
• Required Logon - has the session expired?
• Boolean ValidateABA (string token, string aba) - Validates the bank routing number against the mod-10 algorithm.
• Boolean VerifyABA (string token, string aba) - Determines if the routing number is present in the Lyons Bank Routing Number Database (Meter is charged).
• GetBanksXML (string token, string aba) - Returns a list of financial institution names for a submitted 9-digit bank routing number (Meter is charged). Not all routing number /financial institution pairs are one to one. Many financial institutions share routing numbers with other institutions.
• Logoff - Log out user.

Results from the above method are returned in an XML string.  Sample results are provided below.  For a formal definition, please review the Service Description.
